From Tebay village S on minor road to gain open access land. Shepherds' tracks S over Tebay Gill, White Combs and Powson Knott to Blease Hill. Initially faint path ENE towards Archer Hill but leave path to go cross country over Archer Moss. Shepherds' track from cairn SE to Uldale Head then cross country N to Rispa Pike and then descend W over Whitefold Moss to track at sheepfold in valley. Track N to Weather Hill then leave NW on shepherd's track to Waskew Head. Return on track to Tebay. 13.2km, 473m ascent/descent, est time 3:15hr. (Based on gpx trace recorded on 19/04/13)

Arkengarthdale - Fremington Edge and Calver Hill
From Langthwaite take minor rd E to Booze. Continue on FP NE past old lead mine. Cross Slei Gill and climb S to boundary wall on Fremington Edge. Follow wall SE to FP and track to Reeth, Descend Edge by FP to Reeth. Cross Arkle Beck by Road Bridge and continue W by minor rd and FP to Healaugh. Take minor rd, track and FP N then NW to Calver Hill. From hill regain path and follow it NE to Arkle Town and then rd to Langthwaite. 16.4km; 639m ascent/descent; est time 4hrs. Faggergill Mines, Frying Pan Stone and Hoove
From the Arkengarthdale road route follows farm tracks, PROWs and some off piste walking across Faggergill Moor to the trig point on Hoove then loops back to take in the Kettle Stone, the Frying Pan Stone before descending via the Faggergill lead mines. 15.9km, 361m ascent/descent, 4:10hrs. Dartmoor - Rippon Tor Circular
Starting at Haytor Rocks car park, route goes via Bagtor and Bagtor Cottages to find track to Rippon Tor Range (involves short off piste with easy stream crossing after end of track past cottages - follow stream, duck under barrier or cross wall). Follow little used track to Rifle Range (disused). Follow roads NW then track across Blackslade Ford to Tunhill Rocks. Continue along ridge to Pil Tor and Top Tor before short descent back to road. Cross cattle grid then through gate to climb Rippon Tor then drop off far side on path to car park near Saddle Tor. Cross Saddle Tor before returning to start. 11.7km, 389m ascent/descent, 3hrs. Dartmoor - Belstone Tarka Trail Circular
Route follows Tarka Trail from Belstone into the valley of the East Okement River through pretty woods by the stream, with a couple of sporty sections en route, before passing under the A30 to join the DH Way to Okehampton Station (PC and Cafe). The return path crosses over the A30 to climb the flank of East Hill to regain the moor. Passing Lower Halstock the path continues to climb with improving views before dropping to cross the River again at Cullever Steps. The final climb passes Winter Tor to cross Belstone Common before dropping down into the wild looking valley of the River Taw to return to Belstone Village. 14.4km, 384m ascent/descent, 3:20hrs.
