  • From Matlock lovely walk up the 'Alpine Path' to Matlock Bath through the former Victorian pleasure grounds with good lookout viewpoints and old lead mining ravines. I possibly visited the summit previously ,on the very edge of the unfenced cliff edge,when climbing on this magnificent steep cliff in the 1990s. Continued our walk to Riber Castle and Bilberry Knoll.
