- L stroked the cows and calves whilst I made a short dash for the top through two gates just down the Limestone Way. We had passed by along this track 3 years ago as darkness fell doing the 56 mile Bullock Smithy hike. Another long walk now back to the car at Ashford via Taddington with a 20 minute spell of a search and rescue sea king helicopter going round and round overhead (training?)
