- Wide commanding views out over Manchester to the west and to the Pennine hills behind. A good place to live to be able to watch rain storms sweeping in from the south west over the city and sunsets. A surprised horse looked at me from its small stable as I appeared at the highpoint around the back of the houses off the fp.
