  • nd visit. Lovely icy sunny January day with a gentle but chill icy N wind - high pressure in charge. Perfect day for the start of the Winter Spine race (Pennine Way) which got underway this morning). 3hr circuit with L and the 3 dogs we are pet-sitting for at Casterton - the lab and spaniel loved chasing each other and play fighting all way round - ignoring all sheep. Back for lunch then all of us snoozing on the sofa in front of the wood burner.
